Hurricane Lesson

So tomorrow is Labor Day, but we don't have a lot of big plans. It looks like we're going to watch the hurricane make landfall and I wanted to use it as a lesson. I found a great link to free NASA videos about the birth of hurricanes. Abby is pretty intrigued about the naming system and I think I'm going to help her go through the alphabet and come up with some hurricane names of her own. (She thought Katrina was a "cute" hurricane name!) I may have to dig a couple of 2-liters out of the recycling and make a bottle-cyclone too. I guess we're starting our week a day or two early!
